Of the numerous formats and camera systems I have used over the years, I have settled on the following systems. The 35mm DSLR, which I use for most commercial work, has completely replaced my 35mm film SLR system and to a large degree, the medium format. For landscape, I prefer to use the large format Ebony system along with 6x12 and 6x17 roll film backs, thus allowing me to continue making traditional black and white prints in the darkroom.

The following, is a condensed list of the equipment I used to create the images on this website

  • Nikon film and digital SLRs, with Nikon and Sigma lenses from 24mm to 600mm
  • Hasselblad 6x6 format cameras and system lenses from 50mm to 250mm
  • Ebony 4x5 format cameras with Horseman and Shenhao film backs and Schneider lenses from 80mm to 180mm
  • Gitzo and Manfrotto tripods and heads
  • Sekonic and Minolta flash/light meters
  • Bowens studio flash systems
  • Nikon and Metz camera mounted flashguns
  • Epson Perfection V750 Pro flatbed scanner
