My two main interests as a teenager were music and art. Unfortunately, any musical ambition I may have had was scuppered by my not having a single musical bone in my body. I did however, have a flair for drawing and painting. My burgeoning interest in photography seemed a natural progression from this and coincided with my first experience of a live rock concert. It was my desire to practice with my first “proper” camera, a second-hand Zenith B SLR, bought from a friend, which led to me shooting my first gig.

Many of the images in these galleries form a retrospective of the variety of musical genres I have covered in my career. More examples from my library will be added at a later date, once they have been scanned.
